Me playing the ukulele and my blue Fender™ Start electric guitar layered over each other. This was created by me when my friend Derek Crofut (a.k.a. Derek Piotr) wanted me to record myself playing Ukelele, and then I recorded electric guitar over it, and then added in drums and deep sub bass. This song also samples several YouTube videos as part of the soundscape. The audio from the videos was skipping all over the place and playing at weird speeds because of the exceedingly poor internet connection at 30 Hilton Avenue, Woods Hole, MA 02543 where this was recorded, and other undetermined factors that have long been forgotten. GarageBand, however, faithfully recorded all of these technical difficulties while I played very untechnical ukulele, and then electric guitar over it. The videos were the result of me typing in "Björk" on YouTube, impatiently checking to see if she had released any new music, as it was near the end of the Volta era. However, it mostly just showed me content by Brant Bjork and things related to Mike Patton, the latter due to him having worked with her on her 2004 album Medúlla. This song was originally uploaded to my SoundClick music page at www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=541671&content=music on Saturday 11/29/2008. The track artwork is a color-enhanced picture of the rocks near my family's beach in Woods Hole, MA, taken with my Mom's old digital camera. I compressed the image size to fit square dimensions and fit pixel requirements.
