Anger (feat. Sirius Lady)

about

My hot song "Anger (feat. Sirius Lady)" from my collection/album "Blunt Juice - Disc 1" with my late friend Amber Scanlan. This song and its title were inspired by the rising mortal terror of Amber psychotically getting mad at me for no reason due to being off her medication and drinking a lot, and how Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, particularly a crazy woman. The building cinematic orchestral section I think best musically mirrors what that felt like for me. It contains samples from "I Hate My Baby Daddy" by Dirty South Girls and the skit "Thugmisses Speaks, Pt. 2" from Khia's classic 2006 album Gangstress, and it also contains an interpolation of what I thought Björk's song "I See Who You Are" off of her 2007 album "Volta" would sound like before I heard it. The Khia sample has the Vocal Transformer effect applied to it. This song is very rhythmic and experimental. The artwork for this track is a sepia-toned shot taken out of the back passenger side window of Amber's old Kia Optima with my Mom's old digital camera. This song was originally uploaded to my SoundClick music page at www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=541671&content=music&songcount=107&offset=0&currentPage=2 on Wednesday 9/26/2007.
