I had always liked this song since I first heard it at the end of Waits' awesome 2002 album Blood Money, so I decided to cover it. This was recorded in my freshman year dorm room, Room 403, 4th Floor, Fox Hall, East Campus, UMass Lowell, 100 Pawtucket Street, Lowell, MA 01854, United States, during the spring 2010 semester. The guitar in the recording is my Taylor 214ce electric acoustic guitar. I added a MIDI electric bass part and a little coda at the end with a tremolo-effected MIDI guitar.
